Laying the Foundation of church and a restaurant
With water now on the property and the first section of land graded, construction has started. The foundations for both the Children's church activity center that will serve for all church services to start with and the foundation of a restaurant where we can serve people passing by on the heavily traveled tourist road between Puerta Escondido and Huatulco. The restaurant will give the families a place to earn money and the profits will help to defray the daily cost of running the center. We depend on ongoing support to make this all happen. God has been so faithful and shown how He always intervenes just in the nick of time.

Start of First Building
We have had church services at the small roadside "brush arbor" for a couple of years. This last week the crew started tearing it down. They picked up some sand and gravel and cement block to lay out the foundation. This will serve for our first meeting area and a roadside restaurant.
Our property is on the main highway between several tourist points. You cannot find a quick lunch or a cup of coffee anywhere along the road. We will serve Baja style fish tacos and Mexican tropical juices. The restaurant will be called "La Taquiza" after the famous La Taquiza Fish Tacos in Napa, California.
Also early mornings there will be hot Lachiguiri coffee and fresh baked breads, baked in a special wooden dome oven.
Some of the families living at the center will be able to earn money by working at the restaurant or baking breads. This will also help defray the daily cost of running the center.
